i saw the Passion of the Christ last night…
the entire way home, little was said between katie and myself – we were both searching for the words to say, to try to explain what we’d just seen. a task not easy said or done. later, we made futile attempts to describe the movie – sort of a cinematic confirmation for those of the christian faith. ‘heart-breakingly uplifting’ comes to mind, but fails in so many ways.
for those who’ve not seen it – go. i, like melissa, i will purchase a ticket for anyone who does not have the moneys to go see it.
