today was the visitation and funeral of the husband of a co-worker. she and i have worked on a rather large project at work (and are still working on it)… her husband died of a heart attack suddenly while hunting last weekend. i never really got to meet the guy, and after the ceremony – i’m very disappointed that i didn’t. i did a lot of thinking… this video popped into my head at some point throughout the rest of the day. (i didn’t even remember where i saw it first, but my lovely wife came to the rescue (yet again) after i’d found it on the interweb). i’ve seen a couple other versions of this same concept, but i’m a sucker for the ‘original’ (or at least the original to me). this video got to me when i first watched it, and it still gets to me and really makes me think about what i’m doing in this life… i’m very grateful for what God’s given me and sometimes i need to express my gratefulness more. like now, when said lovely wife is waiting for me to get to bed, so without further ado… this very most excellent, Everything by Lifehouse video/skit…
