So one day at wurk and this was a while ago, it might've even started in college whilst working at the computer lab one night, i decided it was time to beat every numbered game of freecell. You know, one of those free games that comes with windows? No, not solitare - the one that nobody knows how to play, yeah freecell. When i started my quest there were only 32,000 numbered games of freecell, now you can select a number from 1 to 1,000,000 - a daunting task, no doubt, but i'm not going to back down.
i started with game 1 and i beat it, then i went to game 2. If i wasn't able to beat a game (for whatever reason), i restarted it and played that game until i beat it. i only went on to the next game when i had conquered the previous challenge. i started by keeping my progress on a piece of tape next to my monitor and writing down the next unbeaten game number - so now i guess i've upgraded to the interweb and keeping track of my progress in a form that everyone can see. i don't get a chance to play too often, so this might not change everyday. If you're anxiously awaiting progress and you're not seeing any - go ahead and yell at me.
